Studio Skogsö is a Stockholm-based design studio founded by Ellinor Brenninkmeijer, bringing together British eclecticism and Scandinavian sensibility.

Born in Sweden and raised in London, Ellinor grew up surrounded by homes full of colour, pattern and character. Rooms where antiques sat alongside contemporary pieces, where things didn’t necessarily match, and where interiors evolved naturally over time. That slightly eclectic, wonderfully imperfect approach to decorating remains a defining influence on the studio today.

Her Scandinavian roots bring another perspective — an appreciation for simplicity, natural materials and good craftsmanship. It’s the combination of these two influences that shapes the Studio Skogsö aesthetic.

We believe a home should feel collected rather than decorated. We love mixing periods and styles, introducing unexpected colours and patterns, and finding those small details that give a room its personality. Above all, we want the spaces we create to feel comfortable, individual and genuinely lived in.

Today, Studio Skogsö works across residential interiors, selected commercial projects and furniture design. We collaborate with a trusted network of craftspeople and suppliers, both locally and internationally, with a shared appreciation for quality, craftsmanship and the finer details.
